Saggy, baggy old Lydia!

What does Lydia fear more than being caught in jeans? Her wrinkles! If you notice none of the photos she posts on her blogs, show close-ups. Hasn't she heard of people ageing gracefully?

But I guess after writing so much about clothes, she doesn't want close-up photos showing how ugly she actually is in them with her loose flesh and wrinkles.

She is ultra-sensitive about her wrinkles, her make-up. So if you see in her new book, she has softened the edges of the photograph, so her wrinkles are not shown. But we know how the real Lydia looks like.

  1. Wow, you've really sunk to a new low. It's one thing to criticize someone's ideas, but her appearance? Geez! So what do you look like, anyway? What's your real name? How much money do you make? What is your relationship to Lady Lydia? What gives you credibility to criticize her ideas? If I were her, I'd sue your pants off.

  2. Hi Lydia,

Nice to see you posting as anonymous. Nice to know you keep in touch

  3. I actually know Lydia in person, and that anonymous poster is NOT her - she doesn't speak like that - so don't try and deflect the criticism. You are a sad, pathetic little person who clearly has nothing of value happening in your life, so you set about criticising someone who is actually quite a good, decent person. But when one sinks to criticising how another looks - well that just shows that they have nothing left to fight with.

We don't have to agree with the ideas of others, but most of us do so with maturity, dignity and self respect - all you are doing is making yourself look bad.

  5. This is creepy. Seriously. I notice you link to Twisty--I'm pretty sure she wouldn't be on board with your sexist and ridiculous attacks on Lydia Sherman based on her looks. Women are subjected to that crap far too often.

You want to criticize what she writes, go for it--you'll hear nary a peep from me. I don't agree with her either. But I do not see how trashing her for her looks has anything at all to do with that. You're just doing to her what is done to all women--dismissing her and shaming her based on her looks.

  6. Lydia looks lovely. She has a kind face. I agree with Sheelzebub a woman shouldn't be criticised about her looks.
